Description / Flybox Electric Eggstasy
The Flybox Electric Eggstasy is the latest addition to Flybox’s Eggstasy range and features brand new, super-vibrant, UV Fibres.
Eggstasy is an fantastic material for tying egg-flies. Unlike regular egg yarn, which involves spinning yarn, Eggstasy is constructed on a core which means you can tie it like a chenille.
What makes this material superior to other fly tying materials is the fibre itself. The fibre is the first material to be made from ‘’next generation’’ (NX-Gen Fibre).
This is a ground breaking synthetic. NX-Gen fibres are micro thin and are specifically designed to trap water which forms an incredibly soft and almost a slush like texture when wet. These fibres are translucent which allows light to pass through the egg unlike standard egg yarn.
